I wanted to create a design that captured the element of diversity through color symbolism. Color plays an important role across cultures and time, and I wanted to highlight the rich diversity of organizations within clinical neuropsychology coming together (similar to the shapes coming together to form the whole brain) to form the Houston Conference Guidelines Revision Planning Commission (HCGRPC). Additionally, I chose the color blue for the arched lettering (symbolically representing the cranium), as blue is the main color that makes up the Minnesota flag. I wanted to show my respect to the state hosting this important conference.
