Several people have expressed an interest in applying to be a delegate to the Minnesota 2022 Update Conference. The process of delegate application has two phases. First, each of the seventeen neuropsychology organizations represented on the HCGRPC has been asked to submit a list of 3-5 individuals for consideration by the HCGRPC as delegates. Organization nominees have until February 15, 2022 to complete their applications on the Nominee Portal. Additionally, beginning on February 16, 2022, the HCGRPC will begin receiving self-nominations to serve as at-large delegates to the conference, with an application completion deadline of March 15, 2022.
Organizational and self-nominated at-large applicants will be reviewed based on a number of variables, including ethnic/racial/cultural diversity, practice area (e.g., pediatric or lifespan vs. adult), instructional/training focus (e.g., graduate school, internship, fellowship) and other factors to build a delegate group that is broadly representative of clinical neuropsychology practice and education. There will be approximately 50 delegates selected in total, with at least 34 of those delegates having been nominated through neuropsychology organizations. Applicants will be notified of their selection as delegates in early April 2022.
